When you successfully complete this course you will receive a certificate and a wallet licence to certify you as competent to drive a forklift on company premises. If you have a Full NZ Drivers Licence and do the Endorsement portion of training to achieve the F Endorsement you will also receive a certificate to take to a Land Transport Agent to have the F endorsed on to your drivers licence.
PLEASE NOTE - As of the 3rd December Auckland will be in the Red Light phase of the new Covid Traffic Light System. This means that we will only be able to allow fully vaccinated people onsite. Please ensure you bring your My Vaccine Pass with you to show upon arrival.

If you are not vaccinated, please contact us as we may be able to complete training at your site instead.
A cancellation fee may be applicable if students arrive for training with no My Vaccine Pass.
Please note, as with any certified forklift certificate you are limited to the type of forklift you have been assessed on. This is transferable to any New Zealand worksite.
All courses include:
* Hi Vis Vest
* Theory Training
* Daily check of machinery
* Practical assessment
Beginner courses also include:
* 1/2 day practical training
During COVID restrictions whilst any form of face to face training is carried out (at our site and yours) we will need to:
- ensure 2m distancing from the instructor and individual students who are not in a company bubble is adhered to (companies can have a 1m distancing restriction);
- ensure machinery is sanitised between drivers;
- no food or drink is provided;
- no more than 10 on a course excluding instructors;
- everyone must be contract traced;
- facemasks to be worn at all times;
- where possible gloves to be used to reduce contamination risks;
- if showing symptoms of being unwell you will be asked to reschedule.
Pre-requisites for ALL STUDENTS:
No pre-requisites. If you have limited English speaking or understanding skills let us know when booking as it may affect your ability to pass the course. If you struggle with reading/writing let us know when booking as we have instructors who can assist with this.
Pre-requisites for EXPERIENCED STUDENTS:
Students must be competent to drive the forklift. There is no practical training included in the Experienced Operators course.
Pre-requisites for ENDORSEMENT STUDENTS ONLY:
Anyone booking under this course to do the F Endorsement to drive a forklift on the road must hold a current Full New Zealand Class 1 or 2 Drivers Licence.
If you successfully pass the F Endorsement portion of training you will be able to drive a forklift on the road with the Gross Laden Weight depending on the Class of Drivers Licence you hold:
- Class 1 - up to or less than 18,000 kg
- Class 2 - up to and more than 18,000 kg
A road is defined as "anywhere the public has access to drive - ie customer carparks, internal roads, footpaths, driveways, etc"less
