ASWEFA brings EWP training to your worksite for the Scissorlift and/or Self-Propelled Boomlift (often known as a knuckleboom). Enquire now and you will recieve a call back to discuss your needs and schedule a training date.

When you successfully complete this course you will recieve a Hianz Silver Card widely recognised on any worksite. Those doing the Unit Standard Course will have the Units applied to their Record of Learning.
When indicating your preferred dates, allow a full day for those requiring Unit Standard training and a half day for those who already have the required Unit Standards on their record of Achievement (see below).
If you have previously completed Unit Standard 23966, 23960 and/or 23962 and they are on your NZQA Record of Achievement you can do the EWP Refresher Course.
If you have NOT previously completed Unit Standard 23966, 23960 and/or 23962 you must do the full unit standard training, not a Refresher course (even if you know how to operate them)
These courses include:
- Student manual received on the day for those doing Unit Standard training;
- 3 hours theory approximately;
- Theory Test;
- Practial Assessment on Scissorlift and/or Boomlift
- Practical training prior to assessment for Beginners on Unit Standard Course.
Pre-requisites for ALL Students:
Students cannot have a fear of heights as they will be harnessed in to the EWP and lifted over 3 metres from the ground;
Pre-requisites for REFRESHER Students:
Students must hold the Unit Standards as mentioned above in order to do a Refresher Course. Proof of this must be provided at the time of your booking.
