When you successfully complete this course you will receive a certificate and plastic wallet licence to certify you as competent to drive a forklift on company premises. If you have a Full NZ Drivers Licence and do the Endorsement portion of training to achieve the F Endorsement will also receive a certificate to take to a Land Transport Agent to have the F endorsed on to your drivers licence.
If you opt to do the ONLINE training course designed for experienced operators and are unsuccesful at passing we will transfer the cost of this towards a course at an ASWEFA site or at your company site.
Please note, as with any certified forklift certificate you are limited to the type of forklift you have been assessed on. This is transferable to any New Zealand worksite.
If you don't hold a Full New Zealand Drivers Licence you will need to do the WORKSITE FORKLIFT LICENCE COURSE (experienced) or WORKSITE FORKLIFT LICENCE COURSE (beginners) or ONLINE, you cannot do the F ENORSEMENT.

Pre-requisites for ALL STUDENTS:
If you have limited English speaking or understanding let us know when booking as it may affect you passing this course. If you struggle with reading/writing let us know when booking as we have instructors who can assist with this.
Pre-requisites for EXPERIENCED STUDENTS ONLY:
Those booking under the EXPERIENCED operators course need to drive a forklift, including stack and destack efficiently. If you cannot do this you need to book the Beginners Course which includes practical training to avoid failing the experienced operators course.
Pre-requisites for ONLINE COURSES ONLY:
Those booking under the ONLINE forklift operators course need to hold a previous forklift licence proving they drive a forklift, including stack and destack efficiently. If you cannot do this you need to book the Beginners Course which includes face to face training with an instructor and practical training.
Pre-requisites for ENDORSEMENT STUDENTS ONLY:
Anyone booking under this course to do the F Endorsement to drive a forklift on the road must hold a current Full New Zealand Class 1 or 2 Drivers Licence.
If you successfully pass the F Endorsement portion of training you will be able to drive a forklift on the road with the Gross Laden Weight depending on the Class of Drivers Licence you hold:

A road is defined as "anywhere the public has access to drive - ie customer carparks, internal roads, footpaths, driveways, etc"
